TWO THIRDS OF BRITISH CHILDREN ACQUIRED LICENSED CHARACTER PRODUCTS IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS! 
The latest Baby and Child Track surveys from Carrick James Market Research indicates that two-thirds, i.e. 7.2 million children aged 0-14 bought or had bought for them at least 1 product with a licensed character theme in the last 3 months or so. Over 80% of children aged 6 and under acquired at least one licensed product, with just over 52% acquiring some type of licensed clothing. A MAJOR NEW PAN-EUROPEAN SURVEY FROM CARRICK JAMES SIGNALS MANY DIFFERENCES AMONGST EUROPEAN CHILDREN 

Carrick James Market Research has recently completed a wide-ranging survey of 1,500 children aged 6 -14 years in five continental European countries namely France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland and Great Britain. The survey, carried out during Nov ’03 to Jan ’04, is the first wave of the Company’s new Syndicated Pan-European Child Track service.The report just published also provides similar information and comparisons with a survey of British children generated from the long established Child Track service.

BULLYING AND VIOLENCE AT SCHOOL TOP BRITISH KIDS WORRY LIST SAYS CARRICK JAMES!

The latest wave of the Carrick James Child Track survey shows that school issues are more likely to worry or concern children than other issues. The survey carried out during April amongst 596 British children aged 7-14 invited them to reveal what sort of things worry or concern them most at present, either in the world as a whole or in the area where they live. A multitude of spontaneous answers were forthcoming which were then grouped into 7 broad categories. This reveals that 42% of children have concerns or worries about school, particularly in respect of bullying/violence, and schoolwork/exams. The next most important category relates to various national crime related issues, followed by domestic/personal issues and world issues.
